Mission Statement
To help the expatriate Hyderabadi community, create unity, share
and sustain the rich cultural pride of Hyderabad.
Our History
Established January 1986 in Kuwait, Hyderabad Muslim Welfare
Association (HMWA) is an independent association. Ever since its
inception, HMWA has endeavored to bring all Muslims in
particular Hyderabadi Muslims under one umbrella to promote
understanding of the religion, create brotherhood and, reinforce
their cultural ties, share information to achieve common goals
for a strong community to emerge which would further help to
uplift social economical status of the community and eradicate
its educational backwardness from Muslim Indian community in
general and Hyderabadis in particular.
HMWA provides a platform for exchange of ideas and awareness
within and outside of community. HMWA also enables and
encourages its members to share thoughts and exchange
information related to developments in India and Hyderabad.
A New Team
As we move into the first decade of the twenty first century,
our objectives are dynamically redefined to face the new
challenges. Steering in this direction, is the emergence of a
new, young, dynamic, enthusiastic, educated and strongly
motivated team under the qualified guidance and patronage of the
senior members. This collective intellectual and young asset is
geared to usher HMWA leading forward.
